Zach Locke has previously impressed his classmates at Challock Primary School by taking part in the speed stacking world championships in Germany.

The game involves stacking and unstacking plastic cups in different combinations at the fastest speed.

Now the 10-year-old schoolboy has returned home with six gold medals from the Spanish Open Competition held in Madrid.

He won two gold medals in the relay, where the team set a new UK record, as well as a gold medal in the doubles competition, the 3-3-3, the 3-6-6 and the full cycle with a rapid speed of just 7.841 seconds.

His mum Suzanne said: “The UK team had an amazing weekend, it’s all been a great experience ahead of the UK national competition to be held in Winchester on Saturday, October 15.”
