Get fit and enjoy scenery on walks
All together now... one, two, three!
No fewer than three health walks are held in Tenterden each week -– on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Led by friendly volunteers, the walks are especially good for people who are recovering from illness or who just need a bit of motivation to take more exercise.
Walks usually last from half an hour up to an hour-and-ahalf. There is no need to book – just turn up.
The Tuesday walk starts from St Andrew’s Catholic Church, Ashford Road, Tenterden (meet at 10.15am). Dogs on leads are welcome.
The Umbrella Club walk is on Wednesday for half an hour. Meet in the foyer of Tenterden Leisure Centre, Recreation Ground Road at 11.15am for an 11.30am start.
Contact Chris, walk leader, on 01580 241936 for more information.
The Friday walks start from Zion Baptist Church, High Street, Tenterden, at 10.15am (meet at 10am) and lasts for about an hour.
Tea and coffee are available at the church after this walk.
