Primary pupils join Queen’s celebrations

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - School Report -

Hamstreet Primary School celebrated the Queen’s birthday with a live gymkhana, dressage demonstration and a brass marching band.

The extravaganza was then followed by a “street party” afternoon tea on the school field. Andrea Tadiwala, academy admin manager, said: “The school field was turned into a horse showground with Amy, James, Holly and Saffron showing us their talents in dressage and games – they were brilliant.

“In the afternoon a marching brass band played some amazing pieces of music while the children clapped along and waved their flags.

“Thank you to the Hamstreet parents for providing all the lovely food. The children also received a commemorative badge to remember the lovely day we had.”
