Car show at American Diner
Ashford car enthusiasts will unite for a show raising cash in memory of the butterfly brothers – two young boys who died within days of each other.
East Kent Static Meets will be hosting the show at the American Diner in Bybrook Barn on Saturday, June 11 from 7pm.
Peter Down, one of the organisers, said the event is for all car enthusiasts to show they are not boy racers while raising money
His friend Debi Johnson will be doing a parachute jump in aid of Julia’s House, a children’s hospice based in Dorset, that looked after the butterfly brothers.
Harry, three, and Cody Churchill, one, from Poole, died from a rare skin condition within days of each other in 2013. Both had epidermolysis bullosa (EB) and developed infections.
Debi said: “We are doing a sky dive for Julia’s House because these two beautiful butterflies captured our hearts.”
