Why ‘Rapunzel’ has lost lots of her locks
A schoolgirl had a whopping 15 inches of her hair cut off to donate to the Little Princess Trust.
Paige Brackley, eight, from Kennington, had the big chop at Dontev hair salon in Godinton Park, Ashford, last week.
The Lady Joanna Thornhill primary school pupil has raised more than £140 for the children’s cancer charity.
Her proud mum Joanna said: “Her older sister Chase raised money and donated some of her hair a few years ago, so Paige wanted to do the same.
“I was really surprised when she volunteered because she loves her long hair and has always said she wanted to be like Rapunzel.
“But I don’t think she’s missing it too much because she can actually reach it to brush it now!”
