Tuesday (11am). On Wednesday the Spitfires travel to take on Essex at Chelmsford (11am) in another 50-over game, having sneaked past Surrey in their opening ODC clash at Beckenham on Sunday. Adams said: “At this time of the season you are playing all three formats in quick succession and it is an interesting challenge. “When you have so many games in such a short space of time, it offers the opportunity to build some momentum but at the same time there is no time to dwell on anything if you have a bad result .” Mitch Claydon (ankle) is the only doubt for Kent going into the hectic spell, although he did bowl for the first time this week and Adams added: “We want to try and win every game with our best players. “With so many games there might come a time when we have to prioritise one or another but we are not at that stage yet, we want everyone to be 100% and ready to go every day. “We’ll see where we are in four or five weeks’ time.”
