Craft stalls raise a fair sum

More than 30 craft stalls greeted visitors at Hothfield village hall on Sunday in order to raise money for charity.

Organiser Narjleen Dunning said that with the good weather the day was quiet, perhaps with people making the most of the sunshine by visiting the beach.

She was raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, because one of her best friend’s husband suffers with the condition.

A total of £100 was raised, and now she hopes to organise another craft fair in time for Christmas.
