Chris Com­mer­ford hit four goals to help Mis­fitts through to the semi-fi­nals of Ash­ford Five-a-side League’s Knock­out Cup with a 6-3 win over Rangers. Steve John­son scored the other two goals for Mis­fitts who are now back to their best again af­ter a lean spell. The two teams drew 1-1 in the first leg. Also through to the last four are Wind­mill Inn, who de­feated Lol­zors 3-0, cour­tesy of a dou­ble from Dan Sains and a Lee Robin­son goal. De­spite los­ing the first leg 3-1, d.n.a. are also through af­ter de­feat­ing Mcdon­alds 3-0. Mak­ing up the semi-fi­nal line-up are Re­jects who beat Scout­ing 2-1. Di­vi­sion 1 lead­ers Home­bull moved into the semi-fi­nals of the Murton Cup by beat­ing Libyans 3-1, Matt Jack­son scor­ing twice and Rowan Tag­gart also hit­ting the tar­get. Lol­zors went through by beat­ing Grasshop­pers 2-0, while All Stars and Ladzio pro­gressed by de­feat­ing Spar­tans and All Stars B re­spec­tively, also by a 2-0 mar­gin.
