Dream buy for golfers – at £2.75m
You could be the proprietor of your very own golf club – if you have a spare few million that is.
Chart Hills Golf Club in Biddenden is on the market for a cool £2.75 million.
For that sum the new owners will get the 18-hole course set within 198 acres just north of Biddenden.
The property also includes a modern clubhouse, greenkeeper’s building, office space, driving range and a car park for 150 cars.
Chart Hills is a championship golf course, which was designed by Sir Nick Faldo and has been a European Tour Qualifying school.
It also hosted the Ladies European Tour and the Ladies English Open Championship.
Ian Simpson, director of leisure and trading at Savills which is marketing the property, said: “Chart Hills is a prime golf club in a fantastic location in Kent, which benefits from a range of income producing facilities. Golf continues to be a popular British sport and with the excellent credentials of this course we expect to receive strong interest.”
An adjacent residential property comprising a converted barn currently used for staff accommodation, together with two grass paddocks is available by separate negotiation.
