Young masterminds are put to the test
Hamstreet Primary Academy pupils sat in the famous black chair to face quickfire questions on their times tables in the school’s very own Mastermind challenge.
On Monday, the whole school watched as 14 brave finalists appeared on a giant screen answering maths questions in just one minute.
Prizes were given to everyone who took part but there were three overall champions.
Joshua Akinyosade, Year 2, took the gong with 20 points and no passes.
Sarah Guillen-Alvarez won the Years 3 and 4 round with 18 correct answers and Anna Tomlinson won the Years 5 and 6 category with an amazing 26 correct answers.
