Pupils go through their paces ahead of Olympics

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - School Report -

Pluckley Primary School pupils held a Rio-themed Olympics day to celebrate the upcoming games. Each class learned about a different country competing in this year’s Olympic Games, which will be held in Brazil from August 5 to 12.

For their own opening ceremony last Wednesday, the pupils paraded with their countries’ flags and heard about the medal tallies from the London 2012 games.

Over the day, each class learned a traditional dance from their country, which they presented to the school at the closing ceremony.
