Th­ese school chil­dren can cre­ate and build thanks to a £300 do­na­tion.

Young­sters at Rep­ton Manor Pri­mary on Ash­ford’s Rep­ton Park es­tate have a new out­door con­struc­tion area af­ter Ash­ford Vine­yard gave them the money as a thank-you for al­low­ing the church group to meet there.

Chris Kim­mance from Ash­ford Vine­yard cut the rib­bon and Year 1 teacher Laura Hitch­cock de­clared the area of­fi­cially open.

She said chil­dren can use the space in lessons and dur­ing play­times and lunchtimes.

“There was a real buzz through­out the school,” she added, “We were also able to cre­ate a de­sign­ing area where chil­dren have the op­por­tu­nity to be­come the next Vic­to­ria Beck­ham, de­sign­ing dresses and all sorts.”
