Choir joined by special guest Chloe
Singers from the Ashford Community Choir were joined by a special visitor when sevenyear-old guide dog Chloe joined rehearsals.
Chloe is owned by Pat Marshall, who joined the choir in September 2015.
Since losing her sight nine years ago, Pat says that her hearing has become more acute and she has developed an ability to listen intently.
Now musical director Karen Hill records the songs for Pat, who learns the words and music during the week.
Chloe, Pat and the rest of the choir will be performing a varied programme of songs at Revelation St Mary’s in Ashford town centre on Friday, July 1.
Starting at 7.30pm, there will be guest singers and musicians with tickets on the door costing £10 or £8 for concessions and £5 for children. Profits will be shared between Guide Dogs for the Blind and national cancer charities.
