Golfers can’t stop raising cash
They may have been soaking wet and aching but these four intrepid golfers ended the day on a high after raising over more than a £1,000 for charity.
Christopher Crowfoot, Jez Sharp, Paul Hawkins and Moray Mackenzie from Ashford played for 15 hours non-stop to boost the coffers of Macmillion Cancer Support.
The mammoth 72 hole challenge started at 5am at Littlestone Golf Club in New Romney. Mr Mackenzie said: “We managed to get through the rain and thunder and raised over £1,300 for this very worthy cause.”
