Lo­cal Plan is out for pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion

Ash­ford Bor­ough Coun­cil is hold­ing a se­ries of pub­lic con­sul­ta­tions across the bor­ough for res­i­dents to have their say on the Lo­cal Plan 2030.

The bor­ough is set to gain 12,000 new houses across a num­ber of ear­marked sites and the huge plan is now out on an eight-week pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion.

Res­i­dents, busi­nesses and com­mu­nity groups are urged to view the plans and share their com­ments on­line or at one of the fol­low­ing pub­lic con­sul­ta­tions:

Kingsnorth School hall on Tues­day, June 28, from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.

Ham­street Vil­lage Hall on Wed­nes­day, June 29, from 3pm to 6.45pm.

Park Mall, in the Town Cen­tre on Wed­nes­day, July 6, from noon to 4pm.

Ash­ford Mar­ket, in Or­bital Park on Fri­day, July 8, from 3.30pm to 8pm.

Char­ing Vil­lage Hall, on Tues­day, July 12 from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.

Julie Rose Sta­dium on Thursday, July 14, from 3.30pm to 8pm.

Ten­ter­den Leisure Cen­tre on Mon­day, July 18, from 4pm to 7.30pm.

Smeeth Vil­lage Hall on Fri­day, July 22, from 3.30pm to 7pm.

Bid­den­den Vil­lage Hall on Tues­day, July 26, from 3.30pm to 7pm.

Eger­ton Vil­lage Hall on Wed­nes­day, July 27, from 3.30pm to 7pm.
