Pil­grims’ an­nual pre­sen­ta­tion day cel­e­brated the club’s team and in­di­vid­ual suc­cesses for the 2015-16 sea­son. Peter Barker, chair­man of the Great Chart Play­ing Fields As­so­ci­a­tion pre­sented the awards.

Roll of Hon­our: Un­der-9s: Play­ers’ player: Jack Hills, most im­proved player; Sa­mual Storey, par­ents’ player of the sea­son: Harry Var­nel-Smith.

Most man­ager’s man of the match awards: Harry Meads.

Un­der-11s: Most im­proved player: Thomas Hick­man.

Un­der-8: Par­ents’ player of the sea­son: Noah Glass.

Spe­cial awards: Coach of the sea­son: Ian Bau­chop; grounds­man: John Lowry, vol­un­teer of the year: Stu­art Hills.

A new award – the Calvin Lud­lam Memo­rial Shield – for ser­vices to the club, went to Kyran Wil­ford.

For­mer un­der-18 player Calvin lost his bat­tle against can­cer a few months ago, with the award pre­sented by his fam­ily.

An­nual chal­lenge matches saw the un­der-9s beat the un­der-11s, the par­ents win 1-0 against the coaches, with the un­der-8s and un­der-12s beat­ing the acad­emy and un­der-11s re­spec­tively.
