Summer of fun designed for the kids

Ashford Designer Outlet is staging a series of activities this summer to help keep children entertained.

From sports and stories to arts and crafts, from next Thursday to Saturday, August 6 the Kimberley Way centre will be staging Nike Sports Days, with two 30-minute classes taking place from noon.

Then from Monday to Friday, August 8 to 12 there will be a daily instore summer party at Hamley’s from 10am to 5pm.

Among t he e vents t a king place during the party are staff hosting story time with the Hamley’s Bear, RC driving experiences, bubble dash, arts and crafts, a teddy bear’s picnic, t oddler t akeover, outdoor games party, giant penalty shootout and a fancy dress parade.

On Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14 there will be arts and crafts with Kent Life, allowing children to paint their own wooden bird box.

On Wednesday, August 31, Peppa Pig and her little brother George will be visiting the centre for story time sessions at 11am, noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
