Charity quiz for disabled

A charity quiz night is being held on Saturday, October 15 from 7.30pm at Woodchurch Memorial Hall in aid of Woodchurch Carriage Driving for the Disabled. The group provides carriage driving experience for local disabled adults, some of whom are wheelchair dependent. The sport helps to improve co-ordination, balance and sense of well-being and can greatly improve quality of life. The group relies on local donations and volunteers. The evening will raise cash for the upkeep of its ponies. Tables of eight can take part either as individuals or groups. Homemade soup, roll and butter and homemade cakes and coffee are included in the entry price of £10 per person. Tickets from Woodchurch Village Post Office or Woodchurch Driving Group.
