A historic accountancy practice based in Kent for 94 years is being taken over by a rival. The Maidstone office of Day, Smith & Hunter, known as DSH, will be acquired by Wilkins Kennedy, completing its second takeover of a firm in the county this year. The practice will trade under its new owner’s brand once the deal is completed at the end of the month. Wilkins Kennedy will have 72 partners across 16 offices in the UK, including one in Ashford, and one in the Falklands, with an expected turnover of £47 million.
