Runners show true colours

Retail workers from Ashford had a colourful day running in aid of charity.

A team of runners from the Ashford branch of Tile Giant in Mace Lane took part in the Brighton 5k Colour Run on Saturday in aid of Anthony Nolan.

The branch has raised nearly £700 so far from the event and in-store donations for the charity that helps save people with blood cancer.

Branch manager Nick Knowles said: “We did it! We all completed the colour run.

“It was an amazing atmosphere and very colourful.”

The company started fundraising nationally for Anthony Nolan at the beginning of the year in a two-year partnership.
