Ashford cyclists who book their place on the KM Big Bike Ride by October 31 are in with the chance of winning a one day bike maintenance course, courtesy of Biketart of Canterbury.

An east Kent cycle company is offering three places to riders involved with the KM Bi g Bike Ride who will learn new skills including gear and brake set up and puncture repairs.

The 2017 ride, supported by Vattenfall, will start and finish at Betteshanger Park, Deal on Sunday, April 23 next year and will include electronic chip timing and a free sportive photo.

The two routes, designed by Locks of Sandwich, give a choice of a gentle 50km ride or a more challenging 100km ride via East Kent coast and countryside. You can ride just for fun or raise money for your favorite cause.

Simon Dolby from the KM Charity Team, which stages the KM Big Bike Ride said: “The KM Big Bike Ride has routes to cater for both the less experienced and more seasoned riders.”

To receive a £5 discount when booking your place on the KM Big Bike Ride use the code KMPRBB17.
