Guide dog Bond set for life of service
Ashford Guide Dogs volunteers are delighted to welcome their latest recruit.
Bond, pictured right, a yellow Labrador puppy, has been drafted into the ranks a nd taken his first steps to becoming a fully-fledged guide dog.
The branch were told they could name a new puppy after raising a huge £42,000 for the charity in 2015 – at least £5,000 more than the previous year.
Last year, Guide Dogs were named Kentish Express charity of the year.
Stephen Fryer, of Ashford Guide Dogs, said: “Our branches are numbered, our number is 007 so we’ve named our puppy Bond.”
