In addition to people’s comments, a rush hour video has emerged showing the motorway queues in the left-hand lane heading back for over a mile one night last week.
Highways England were contacted for an updated statement. In a previous statement they said: “We treat driver safety with paramount importance.
“We have moved swiftly to resolve the synchronisation problems with the traffic lights of junction 10 of the M20.
“These lights are here to control traffic flow at peak times on this busy junction.
“These lights were recalibrated here while they were switched off over the Christmas period, with this work completed at the beginning of January.”
