Thousands more people are tuning into our radio station kmfm.

The station gained 5,000 new listeners between July and December, the latest results released by official industry body RAJAR reveal.

People are also listening for longer, tuning in for an average of 6.1 hours every week. That’s an increase of 28% on the previous quarter.

More than 165,000 people now listen to kmfm each week, with 109,000 aged between 15 and 54.

KM Group managing director Richard Elliot said: “It’s great to see more and more people tuning in. This demonstrates how KM Group can offer an unbeatable local audience across its radio, newspaper and online platforms.”

The line-up on kmfm includes Breakfast with Garry and Laura, pictured, which gives listeners the chance to win £1,000 in new quiz game Say It!
