A teenage motorcyclist has been banned from riding after he was found to be more than double the legal drinkdrive limit. Aaron Jermy, of The Elms, Hersden near Canterbury, was stopped by officers in Beaver Road, Ashford on Saturday, January 21 this year. He was already disqualified, held no insurance or test certificate, and also had a lock knife. The 19-yearold was given a six-month suspended prison sentence and banned from driving or riding for three years. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £115 for a victim surcharge.
