Debt recovery

Cllr Neil Shorter, Ashford Borough Council’s portfolio holder for finance, budget and resource management, said: “We are dealing with this as a debt. We have attempted to recover this through normal means, as well as trying to work with the parties involved, reflecting the community aspect of the work.

“But this is public money, legitimately owed, and cannot be allowed to continue.”
