Po­lice seek man af­ter taxis row

Po­lice have re­leased an im­age of a sus­pect they’d like to speak to in con­nec­tion with an al­leged as­sault on a man fol­low­ing a row about taxis.

A 43-year-old man was hos­pi­talised with in­juries to his face dur­ing the al­ter­ca­tion with a group of men in a dis­pute out­side The Phoenix in Tufton Street in Ash­ford town cen­tre on Mon­day, March 6.

Of­fi­cers in­ves­ti­gat­ing the in­ci­dent have re­leased the im­age of the man they would like to talk to. He has black hair and was wear­ing a dark jacket, jumper and jeans.
