Calls to dump

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Drivers Divided Over Speed Ramp - By Molly MilehamChappell

Scores of shoppers have complained that their cars have been damaged by a supermarket’s new speed ramp.

The Kentish Express reported last week that a new speed bump designed to slow down shoppers had been installed at the Tesco Extra in Park Farm, much to the dismay of drivers.

The hump was installed on the bend into the main car park of the store, behind the petrol station.

A pedestrian crossing has been in place there for some time, but the new hump with road markings has attracted a wave of criticism online.
