Third birthday for the farmers’ market
Host of traders and shoppers join celebrations
Last weekend’s farmers’ market in the Lower High Street marked the event’s third birthday.
The event on Sunday gave shoppers the chance to try homemade goods with music and entertainment.
Deputy mayor of Ashford Cllr Jessamy Blanford opened the birthday celebrations by cutting a three-tier cake that had been created by Ashford trader Ble Couture.
A host of traders joined in the celebrations with sweet and savoury treat offerings for customers.
