Dangerous and stupid driving
As I was waiting to exit Sainsbury’s petrol station on Friday afternoon, a young woman stopped in the queue at the traffic lights.
She had driven up using her mobile. While waiting for the lights to change, she leant over the passenger seat and ate from a takeaway carton with a spoon or fork.
The traffic then moved, she didn’t. Another car let me out so I ended up in front of her.
She then realised the traffic had moved but had to slam on her brakes to avoid hitting me.
She didn’t have her seat belt on, either. As she was going round Drovers roundabout, she was on her mobile again. How stupid and dangerous. I hope she reads this letter. Also, people need to stop going through red lights. Marilyn Simpson Meridian Court, Ashford
