Jo Gadsby, who runs the fes­ti­val with hus­band Richard, said a 3,000-4,000-strong crowd of mu­sic lovers who flocked to Ten­ter­den last week­end. But the suc­cess was marred by news that the 2018 event has been can­celled fol­low­ing a row over noise lev­els and stage lo­ca­tion although it will re­turn in 2019.
