Parents join in with day of science
Year 1 and 2 pupils had a treat when Beaver Green Primary School held its first ever science afternoon.
Parents were invited to join the children for a science class which was run by the Year 5s.
They completed a range of exciting activities including making their own musical instruments by understanding that sound is produced by vibrations.
They used chemical reactions to create exploding rockets, and became super-heroes by using static electricity to “defy the laws of physics” and move objects.
