Fun-filled day helps chil­dren’s char­i­ties

More fun in the sun was had at the week­end in lov­ing mem­ory of a pop­u­lar Ash­ford man, rais­ing money for chil­dren’s char­i­ties.

The Lov­ing Life Sum­mer Fun­day for the Danny Hall Foun­da­tion took place on Satur­day at the Kingsnorth Play­ing Fields on Church Hill.

The char­ity was set up in hon­our of 25-year-old Danny Hall, who died along­side his friend Josh Robin­son, 22 in a car ac­ci­dent in Aus­tria while par­tic­i­pat­ing in a car rally.

Princesses and su­per­heroes were in at­ten­dance, help­ing cre­ate a fun at­mos­phere along­side ac­tiv­i­ties such aqs welly throw­ing, plate smash­ing, co­conut shy, magic and bal­loon mod­el­ing.

The event raised £1,160 with more do­na­tions ex­pected to come in.
