Estate agents want a result

Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Kent Business Update -

Rival estate agents will not only be raising funds at the annual charity-based Arun Cup football competition this month. They’ll also be slugging it out for precious bragging rights – which last for a whole year.

Organised by Ward and Partners, the cup takes place at Maidstone United’s home ground – The Gallagher Stadium in James Whatman Way, Maidstone on Sunday, July 30 – and includes teams from the company’s two divisions, as well as from Douglas Allen and Cubitt and West.

Gates open at 10.30am ahead of kick off at 11am. Entertainment will include cheerleaders, a magician, food stalls and a bar.

The money raised will be split between Action Medical Research – which funds life-saving work on medical conditions affecting children – and ellenor, which offers care and support to the terminally ill and their families. Last year’s match raised £3,000 for the two charities.

Entry is £4 for adults, while children go free. You can book by text. sending Arun93 £4 to 70070. Call 01622 744 067 or email loose@ wardandpart
