Young farmers celebrate victories at County Show
The North School staff, students and animals returned to school on Monday, tired but happy are having a good weekend at the Kent County Show.
Members of the school’s Young Farmers Club won 71 rosettes and came second place overall out of 18 clubs.
The team won 14 first place prizes and six trophies.
Emma Blunt, secretary to the head teacher, said: “Rosettes are only awarded for five places and most of the classes had over 15 animals, some of the lamb classes had over 40, so to come out with any rosette was a big achievement.
“The whole team worked really hard and were so happy with the results.
“As always we are immensely proud of our students.”
