Farewell to school, with lots of drama
The Year 6 pupils at Willesborough Junior School are leaving with a bang after their successful school play.
The whole year – more than 120 pupils – took part in the production of Shakespeare Rocks to mark the end of their time at the school.
They gave three performances of the comedy play which is based on William Shakespeare’s life, with a score of upbeat musical numbers.
More than 400 family members and friends sat down to watch the performances and every Year 6 child was involved, from performing to production work off-stage.
Year 6 leader Clare Haylor and Year 6 teacher Lauren Potter said: “Their acting, dancing and singing skills have been highlighted and they have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the production.
“They are definitely leaving on a high.”
