Pod­plus are hold­ing a self-treat­ment work­shop next week de­signed to help ath­letes pre­vent foot prob­lems. Po­di­a­try ex­perts will be on hand to of­fer ad­vice, cov­er­ing a va­ri­ety of ail­ments in­clud­ing blis­ters, poor nails and gen­eral foot care – how they hap­pen and how to pre­vent them. The one-hour ses­sion takes place be­tween 6-7pm next Thurs­day (July 27) and costs £6.50. It’s free of charge to con­ces­sions, stu­dents, NHS work­ers and mem­bers of the po­lice and other ser­vices. Pod­plus are based at the Julie Rose Sta­dium and say de­spite road­works nearby, ac­cess to the sta­dium is still avail­able from the A28 from Can­ter­bury and Spear­point round­about.
