PARALYMPIC TABLE TENNIS GOLD MEDALLIST WILL BAYLEY PRESENTS AWARDS
Paralympic table tennis gold and silver medallist Will Bayley was guest of honour at The North School’s annual sports awards evening.
Bayley, who took silver in London 2012 and then achieved his dream of gold at Rio four years later, is ranked No.1 in the world.
Felicity Strover collected three awards on the evening; one of which was performer-of-the-year.
Other pupils commended were Rosan Gurung for his commitment to several clubs across the year, as well as Ross Bampton for his ability to show leadership skills way beyond his years.
Special mention also went to both the under15 boys’ handball team, who collected the most-improved-team accolade and the Varsity basketball squad, team-of-the-year award winners.
