A pupil from Ashford’s Towers School has won a photography competition.

Ellie-Paige Whyatt, who was aged 13 when she entered the competition, has won the Rotary Young Photographer District Final with the theme of Reflections.

Her winning photograph depicts two people in black and white walking in the watery sand on the beach.

Each entrant had to put in three photographs with an explanation of each and what inspired them to take it.

Ashford Rotary Club put many entries forward from schools in Ashford for the competition, which was open to pupils across the South East.
