Heritage trail remembers relatives
Do you have a relative who fought in the First World War?
You now have the opportunity to have them remembered on a First World War heritage trail being planned for the area.
‘100 Miles For 100 Years’, a Heritage Lottery Fund funded project, is developing heritage trails in parts of Kent and is seeking relatives in Ashford and Tenterden.
Have you got a photo of the peace celebrations, a military wedding or maybe some memorabilla? Even if all you have is a local postcard from the period, the project would like you to get in touch. To share any images or stories, you can upload via the website www.kentww1.com or you can send an email to info@ kentww1.com
