Liam Tegg and Craig Buck­ham claimed two wick­ets each for Ashford Town as Di­vi­sion 3 lead­ers Harvel reached 134-5 be­fore the rain ar­rived at Sta­cians Park on Satur­day. Both teams took eight points.

Town are third, 10 points be­hind the Gravesend vil­lagers and five adrift of sec­ond-placed Cat­ford & Cyphers who visit on Satur­day.

In the cor­re­spond­ing 2nd XI fix­ture, at the Des­mond Wood Ground, the match made fur­ther progress but again the rain in­ter­vened be­fore a re­sult was pos­si­ble.

Dar­ren Cooper took 4-33 and James Rod­way 2-26 as Harvel 2nds were re­stricted to 125-7 from 46 overs.

In re­ply, Ashford 2nds were strug­gling on 30-4 when rain stopped play.
