Wit­ness plea to knife threat

Po­lice have ap­pealed for wit­nesses af­ter a teenage boy al­legedly threat­ened a take­away worker with a knife.

Of­fi­cers were called to a dis­tur­bance in High Street, Ash­ford, around 7.30pm on Satur­day, July 19.

A 15-year-old boy was ar­rested in con­nec­tion with the in­ci­dent.

PC Wil­liam Dixon said: “We un­der­stand the restau­rant was busy that evening, and would to any­one else who has in­for­ma­tion about it to come for­ward.”
