Driver dies in head-on crash
An inquest has been opened into the death of a man involved in a two-car collision in Rolvenden.
Assistant Coroner Kate Thomas heard that Sean Flynn, 37, from Swanscombe, was travelling south on the A28 when his Ford Fiesta was in collision with a Ford Focus travelling in the opposite direction.
Mr Flynn, who was born in Greenhithe and married, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post mortem found the cause of death to be traumatic injury.
The accident happened along Hastings Road near Wassall Lane, Rolvenden, at 5.25pm on Monday, September 4.
Five other people were injured in the crash. The inquest was adjourned until Monday, December 11.
