Hospi­tal is rated good in all ar­eas

Health bosses at the new One Ash­ford Hospi­tal next to the Wil­liam Har­vey are cel­e­brat­ing af­ter be­ing rated good by in­spec­tors.

Of­fi­cials from the Care Qual­ity Com­mis­sion vis­ited the site off Ken­ning­ton Road in June and July.

They rated the site good in all ar­eas, prais­ing staff’s kind and com­pas­sion­ate treat­ment of pa­tients.

The pri­vate hospi­tal, which opened in March last year and is run by the One Health­care group, has three op­er­at­ing theatres.

Hospi­tal di­rec­tor Thelma Hen­der­son said: “Af­ter re­cently cel­e­brat­ing our first birth­day, I am de­lighted that the team have achieved this re­sult.

“Ev­ery­one is thrilled and I am pleased that the hard work and ded­i­ca­tion of our staff, and the sat­is­fac­tion of our pa­tients, is re­flected in their re­port.”
