More than 1,000 people attended the Family Fun Day at the Julie Rose Stadium.

The event was held last Saturday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the stadium opening as well as to promote the recent work that has been done on Conningbrook Lakes.

The free event had a huge range of activities including canoeing, sailing, paddle boarding, zorbing, cycling activities and athletic training sessions for visitors to participate in alongside plenty of food and drink stalls by the lake.

The fun day was considered to be a huge success and a great way to show the public the variety of activities both the lakes and the Julie Rose Stadium has to offer.
