Almost 600 people put their best foot forward for charity at the Pilgrims Hospice’s latest night-time event.

Walkers could chose to take on a 5km or 10km lanternlit route around Ashford on Saturday evening, which started at the Julie Rose Stadium at 7pm.

Supporters were invited to pause in Kennington Park off Upper Vicarage Road to place personalis­ed memory lanterns dedicated to lost loved ones.
