Kentish Express Ashford & District - - Every One’s A Winner -

The Granary Spa is celebrating again – after winning yet another award.

The spa in Great Chart won the medium business of the year award in the Independent Business Awards Kent (IBAK) at a ceremony at the Great Danes Hotel, Hollingbourne, on Friday, September 29.

The success delighted spa owner Clare Singleton and her team, and their joy didn’t end there as they were also runnerup in the service excellence award and a finalist in the business growth category.

Clare said: “These awards mean so much to my team.

“We started in Great Chart five years ago with just me and one employee and this has now risen to a dedicated team of 15.

“We would not be here without the support of our loyal guests and wonderful community that we work with.”

The award is the latest in a string won by the spa in recent years, which has previously been a winner in the Kent Health and Beauty Awards and a finalist at the Kent Excellence in Business Awards.

Back i n 2014 Clare was selected as the Kent Business Woman of the Year. She has many years of experience in the holistic health and beauty industry and before moving to Great Chart had run the Revive Holistic Therapy Centre at the Stour Centre, Ashford.

The Granary Spa in Worten Lane is part of the Godinton House Estate and, as its name suggests, is in a converted Victorian granary.
