New com­edy club com­ing to church

Rev­e­la­tion is launch­ing a brand new com­edy night.

Some of Bri­tain’s finest stand-up co­me­di­ans will be tak­ing to the stage at the venue in St Mary’s Church, Ash­ford, on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 27, to pro­vide the au­di­ence with a night of laugh­ter at the Rev­e­la­tion Rev­els Com­edy Club.

The award-win­ning Paul Kerensa, who is also known as a writer for BBC’s Mi­randa and Not Going Out, will be head­lin­ing the night pro­vid­ing en­ter­tain­ment with his “in­ge­nious one-lin­ers, braini­acbased gags and im­pres­sively strong rout­ing”.

Also per­form­ing on the night will be Rob Thomas with his “ra­zor-sharp” wit, comic ac­tor Bent­ley Brown­ing as well as “vicar by day, comic by night” the Rev Ravi Holy, from Wye.
