High Sheriff’s party to say thank you
The High Sheriff of Kent threw a party at his Brabourne home to celebrate the work of more than 80 charities in Kent.
George Jessel hosted it with the Kent Community Foundation (KCF) to say thank you to dozens of organisations.
KCF’s Josephine McCartney said: “It was an opportunity for us to thank the charities and to recognise their important role. There are a number of funds which we manage and which are seeking projects to fund, so I would urge all small charities in Kent to come and talk to us and to see what financial support we can give.”
