Frankie Steer scored seven goals as Lydd Grasshop­pers beat Kingsnorth Pil­grims 8-2 to reach the sec­ond round. Chris But­ton net­ted the other with Adam Bailey and Jon Marchant re­ply­ing for Pil­grims.

Ald­ing­ton were 7-1 win­ners at Home­lands Sta­dium against Ash­ford United Sun­day.

They led 1-0 at the break thanks to Kevin Ruane and ran away with it in the sec­ond half. Ruane net­ted his sec­ond, Matt Beasley and Alex Wil­liams both scored twice and Steve Cow­ell was also on tar­get with Jor­dan Booer Jor­dan Boorer fir­ing home an ex­cel­lent free-kick to put Ash­ford on the score­sheet.

Sellindge SSC beat Di­vi­sion 3 ri­vals Char­ing Sun­day Re­serves 6-0 with goals from Cody McGovern (2), Jor­dan Bur­ton, Ross God­den, Jamie Bur­ton and Fraiser Bloom­field.

Joe Mant con­tin­ued his good form in front of goal with an­other dou­ble to help South Willes­bor­ough to a 5-2 win at 10-man Ash­ford Spar­tans.

Mant, who plays in goal for Bostik League side VCD, now has eight in all
